Twelve blocks of varying heights, rotated at specific angles of 25 degrees off the East-West axis, grow like mountains from a carved out canyon-like landscape. This scheme breaks the monotony of the block and creates a smooth and seamless connection of nature and architecture.
A complex network of bands weaving around the blocks is formed providing visual and acoustic insulation, and defining programmatic event spaces. Thematic bands such as waterband, recreational band, and educational band with extensive activities become the smooth connective tissues of the entire development.
Carved into the ground down to the road level is the commercial canyon band- an active public commercial space. This gives a clear distinction of public and private spaces whilst keeping the connectivity and convenience for the residents.
